He is an expert in capital markets, investment banking, corporate strategy and principal investing, with more than 20 years of experience in the U.S., Europe, Latam and Asia. Most recently Matthew has focussed on shaping digital banking strategy & managing strategic digital banking investments for one of Switzerland's largest private banks.

Jeffrey R. Bohn

Dr. Bohn is the Head of the Swiss Re Research Institute. Most recently, he served as Chief Science Officer and Head of GX Labs at State Street Global Exchange in San Francisco. Before moving back to California, he established the Portfolio Analytics and Valuation Department within State Street Global Markets Japan in Tokyo. He previously ran the Risk and Regulatory Financial Services consulting practice at PWC Japan.

Alexander Braun is adjunct professor for risk management at the University of St. Gallen and member of the management of the Institute for Insurance Economics.

Antony Elliot is president of the board of directors at B3i and group head of business transformation for Zurich Insurance Group. In his 18-year career in the insurance industry Antony has worked across roles in operations, finance, governance, architecture and innovation covering projects across the globe and the insurance value chain. 

J. Christopher Giancarlo

J. Christopher “Chris” Giancarlo is the founder of the Digital Dollar Project which explores a United States Central Bank Digital Currency (CBDC). He served as the 13th Chairman of the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission. 

Tim Hardcastle

Tim Hardcastle is the co-founder and CEO of Instanda and previously served as CIO of UK insurance firm Hiscox from 2005 to 2006 before becoming founding parter of London-based F2X Group, which owns Instanda.

Robert J. Kauffmann

Robert J. Kauffman is Endowed Professor at the Copenhagen Business School, Department of Digitalization. He previously served at Singapore Management University (2011-2019) as a Professor of Information Systems and Management, Associate Dean of the Faculty, Associate Dean of Research, and Co-Director of the Living Analytics Research Centre (LARC), as well as holder of the Lee Kuan Yew Faculty Fellowship for Research Excellence.

Alex "Sandy" Pentland

Alex "Sandy" Pentland is the Toshiba Professor at MIT Media Lab. Professor Pentland directs MIT Connection Science, an MIT-wide initiative, and previously helped create and direct the MIT Media Lab and the Media Lab Asia in India.

Raghavendra Rau

Raghavendra Rau is the Sir Evelyn de Rothschild Professor of Finance at the University of Cambridge. He is also a past president of the European Finance Association, and a past editor of Financial Management. He is a founder and director of the Cambridge Centre for Alternative Finance (CCAF) and a member of the Cambridge Corporate Governance Network (CCGN).

Daniela Stoffel

Dr. Daniela Stoffel is State Secretary for International Finance at the Federal Department of Finance (FDF). Prior to that she served as Head of Economic and Financial Affairs of the Swiss Embassy in Berlin . There she was appointed Deputy Head of Mission in 2012. In 2015, Daniela Stoffel assumed a staff function in the General Secretariat of the OECD in Paris.

David L. Yermack

David L. Yermack is the Albert Fingerhut Professor of Finance and Business Transformation at New York University Stern School of Business. He serves as Chairman of the Finance Department and Director of the NYU Pollack Center for Law and Business.
