Frank Desvignes

Frank Desvignes is the Global Head of AXA Next Labs at AXA. He joined AXA in 2012 with 12 years of experience in helping banking and insurance industries leaders leverage digital to be more efficient. After leading the digital transformation of AXA in the Mediterranean and Latin American regions he was previously focused on connecting the Group with the fast growing and innovative startup ecosystem in Asia.

Jörg Gasser

Jörg Gasser is CEO of the Swiss Bankers Association. He has many years of experience and a broad track record in national and international politics, diplomacy and financial market policy. Most recently he was State Secretary and Head of the State Secretariat for International Financial Matters (SIF). In this position he decisively shaped the design of the Swiss financial center.

Arie Gerszt

Arie Gerszt is head of unit Capital Markets and Financial Market Infrastructure in the State Secretariat of International Finance (SIF) in the Federal Department of Finance (FDF). Among the responsibilities of his team are monitoring developments, providing advice, and preparing the FDF’s affairs in the areas of capital markets, financial market infrastructures, payment systems, and asset management, including Fintech-related issues. His team also manages the FDF’s membership in the Financial Stability Board (FSB) and he represents Switzerland in various international work streams.

Gebhard Giselbrecht

Gebhard Giselbrecht is Head of Client Coverage for Credit Suisse Asset Management CH & EMEA. Previously, he was responsible for the COO area of Asset Management CH & EMEA. Gebhard joined Credit Suisse in May 2006, where he first worked as Chief of Staff to the Asset Management COO and from 2011 to 2016 he went on to head up Asset Management in Singapore and held the position of COO for Asset Management in Asia/Pacific.

Michael G. Jacobides

Michael G. Jacobides holds the Sir Donald Gordon Chair of Entrepreneurship & Innovation and is Professor of Strategy at London Business School. He is an Academic Advisor of BCG, Visiting Scholar at the New York Fed, and Visiting Fellow at Cambridge.

Michal Kosinski

Michal Kosinski is Professor at Stanford University where his research focuses on individual differences in behavior, preferences, and performance. Michal was the Deputy Director of the University of Cambridge Psychometrics Centre, a researcher at Microsoft Research, and a post-doctoral scholar at Stanford’s Computer Science Department.

Alexander Lipton

Alexander Lipton is Connection Science Fellow at MIT and Visiting Professor of Financial Engineering at EPFL. He is also Founder and CEO of Stronghold Labs, Co-Founder of Distilled Analytics, Partner at Numeraire Financial and an Advisory Board Member at several FinTech Companies. In 2016 he left Bank of America Merrill Lynch, where he served for ten years in various senior managerial roles.

Thomas Moser

Dr. Thomas Moser is Alternate Member of the Governing Board of the Swiss National Bank. He is also a member of the Managing Committee of the Swiss Institute of Banking and Finance at the University of St. Gallen, a member of the Executive Committee of the KOF Swiss Economic Institute at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (ETH) Zurich, and a member of the Board of Directors of Orell Füssli Holding Ltd. 

Thomas Moser

Mohsin Rashid

Mohsin Rashid is Director of Corporate & Strategic Development at Cambridge Mobile Technology which raised $500 million from the SoftBank Vision Fund. Mohsin joined Cambridge Mobile Telematics from the SoftBank Vision Fund (“SoftBank”) where he was a both a founder and senior member of the investment team. Prior he was a partner at Knight Assets & Co. and has pent over 12 years at Rothschild and Bank of America Merrill Lynch.

Rotem Shneor

Rotem Shneor is professor at the University of Agder (UiA) School of Business and Law in Norway and an associate of the Centre for Alternative Finance at the University of Cambridge. Rotem serves as  the academic director of the university’s Center of Entrepreneurship and has been leading the Nordic Crowdfunding Alliance of platforms since 2014.

Nir Vulkan

​Nir Vulkan is Professor of Business Economics at the University of Oxford. Nir is a leading authority on e-commerce and market design, and on applied research and teaching on hedge funds. Alongside his role at Saïd Business School, Nir is also a Fellow of Worcester College. He was the Director of the Oxford Centre for Entrepreneurship and Innovation (OxCEI) and the co-founder and Director of OxLab, a laboratory for social science experiments, both at Saїd Business School.

Bryan Zhang

Bryan Zhang is co-founder and executive director of the Cambridge Centre for Alternative Financean inter-disciplinary research group at the University of Cambridge studying new instruments and channels of finance emerging outside of the banking and capital markets system. Bryan is a Research Fellow in Finance at Cambridge Judge Business School and a Senior Fellow at the Financial Innovation Lab.
